caitlynshuda Thanks for the dxdiag, and you have exactly the same laptop as the two other users who replied with dxdiags. You can try the suggestions I posted in those threads if you want:

https://answers.ea.com/t5/PC/Cursor-jumping-all-around-screen/m-p/14192285
I'm not confident they'll help, since they didn't make a difference to the other users, but these are the only ideas I can come up with. I would suggest the clean boot (described in those two threads) but additionally going through the Task Manager and disabling any Lenovo services that will stay off. Since only Lenovo laptops have been affected so far, I still wonder whether some proprietary software is the cause.
I guess you could play with the mouse and touchpad settings under Windows Settings > Devices as well. I'm still running Windows 10 on my laptop and may not have all the options you do, so I can't offer more than "switch stuff on and off and see what happens."
I'll ask around to see whether other people have ideas as well.

(side note, trying to attach dxdiag file through 'insert media' doesnt work as it doesn't allow text files to be attached this way. Ive attached using 'attachment' [paperclip icon]).
Interesting, it worked for me for at least a month, but it isn't now. This site keeps changing though.
