EA doesn’t create an ‘Electronic Arts’ folder when I install the app or any game

For context, on my old laptop I tried to move my game to an external drive but it wasn’t downloading properly and I accidentally deleted my electronic arts folders from my documents. I tried to get the folder back by deleting and uninstalling the app with Revo Uninstaller and reinstalling and downloading games but they would download into C:\Program Files\EA Games\ and have loads of missing files. All my games wouldn’t repair properly when I tried. I gave up after 10+ tries but I recently got a new laptop with enough storage and wanted to try again but I am still having the same issue. I’ve also tried the app recovery as well. Is there anyway to create an ‘Electronic Arts’ folder again for my documents? Please help!

  • I’ve just uninstalled my game and reinstalled and now it’s working?? 🙃 thanks anyways!

    Hey @lucylelaenn,

    What games are you installing? Not every game makes an Electronic Arts folder in documents. Off the top of my head the Sims 4 makes it, but having a folder there isn't exactly a requirement, and if it is needed they'll make it as they need to.

    @lucylelaenn,

    I've there's anything I've learned about troubleshooting, it's better to not question it. I'm glad to hear it's working again! 🙂
