EA failed to launch Sims4

Hi! I am having issues opening the game. I launched it through the EA launcher, then hit resume game and after a few minutes in the loading screen the game crashes and I get a pop-up saying that the EA launcher failed to launch the game and that it’s a problem on their end.

This issue has been ongoing for a couple of days. I have repaired the game, I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game, and I tried with and without mods.

Is anyone able to help with this?

I am having the same issues. The EA app stalls, fails to load, crashes. I believe it's connected to my game crashing soon after launch once I get it to load. I've also removed all of my mods, added some back in. I've switched households. It seems like when the EA app loses its connection the app crashes because after the crash, I can't get back into the app for a bit.

If you get another crash, please provide a dxdiag.  Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop.  From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
