EA won't launch the game (the sims4)

Question

Hi, I'm having an issue with the Sims 4 launcher. EA shows "preparing the game" but nothing is happening and it returns to the main menu. I looked up any broken mod, but it still won't start even after testing everything. Clearing out the mod folder didn't help either, nor did getting out the whole the sims folder out of documents. Starting through Steam had the same result as well as opening as administrator. Tried cleaning the cache and restarting my laptop multiple times but still nothing. Any advice? :((

iliva02&nbsp; Please provide a dxdiag. &nbsp;Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop. &nbsp;From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
Please also let me know what antivirus you use, and whether OneDrive is running on this computer, even if you never use it.
