Event Tab Not Visible

I have been having a constant issue with my event tab not popping up, so I don't know what I need to do when on a date or plan a social event. it just says that the event was unsuccessful right after planning it. this happened after I disable the instruction on my game (that teaches you how to use the mouse during gameplay) all I did was clicked tutorials and tips and unclicked guidance system. I literately tried everything with no success. if anyone can help that would be great and by the way I tested if I had a broken mod (I did and deleted and updated it). it sucks not being able to get those rewards and the game events tab makes the game way better and functional in my eyes. I'm in desperate need of help!
