[FIXED] Must Have The Sims 4 Connected to Your EA Account

My game says "You must have the sims 4 registered to your ea account to access online features"

I have been using the gallery a lot lately, but 2 days ago it stopped working and showed this message. I don't know what to do. I even tried repairing my game, but it didn't work. Can someone please help🤨

There might be an issue with your account. I think it's best if you contact a game advisor

Game advisors can be found through live chat or call-back

    1. https://help.ea.com/en/contact-us/
    2. Click on the orange NEXT button
    3. Select a platform
    4. Click on the orange NEXT button
    5. Select a topic and describe your problem in a few words
    6. Click on the orange NEXT button
    7. Click Chat Now to chat with a Game Advisor or leave your phone number for a call-back

    Hello.

EDIT: We think we've narrowed down the issue.  No need for further logs for the time being.

EDIT #2: Also, if you'd like to contact EA Support as Phantomlover1717 described above, they may be able to provide a possible workaround for you while we look into a more permanent solution.

    Thank you!

If anyone is still encountering this and need further assistance -

    1. Is Origin running and online when you attempt to connect?  If not, please try connecting while Origin is online.
    2. Have you tried re-installing Origin?
    3. We would like to look at your log files if possible.  Can you please send these two files?
      • C:\ProgramData\Origin\Logs\Client_Log.txt  (Note: ProgramData may be a hidden folder, so you may need to unhide it.)
      • C:\Users\<user>\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\ConnectionStatus.txt  (if it exists; it may not)

I am still having this issue. It just started to happen to me a few days ago

  • I'm having the exact same issue, in the past I've been able to connect? I've re-downloaded Origin twice.

I've attached my Client_Log but the other one didn't exist for me.

they didn't help at all.. I hope there is an update for fixing this issue.. at the moment wont play the sims 4.. until I can go online.. thanks!

  • Hi,

I recently tried the Free Trial, then when I liked the game, I bought it, and registered it in Origin...I didn't redownload from the Free Trial, it just offered me a quick update, which I did, and I was able to play the Game, however when I got in, it wouldn't sign me in, just kept bringing up the same message you were getting.  I am just wondering if I should have removed the free trial version first and installed it clean before I did.  Do you think that would help?

Also getting hold of support is pretty difficult for me, as no one ever seems to be available when I'm online, I've tried several times now.

I hope this gets fixed soon, as I would like to use the gallery.

    Thanks,
    Kaypurr
