Affordable laptop to run The Sims 4 on High - Ultra Graphics with reshade.

Hi, I'm looking for a laptop that will be able to run the sims 4 on high medium to high ultra graphics with reshade and cc plus mods and most of the add on packs. Below I attached 3 laptops I am considering, but would like to have someone who has experience or knowledge with the specs, most importantly the graphics card, to let me know whether the laptops below will be able to run the sims on the graphics settings I mentioned.

A- NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3050 6GB, B- NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 4060 6GB, C- INTEL UHD GRAPHICS.

My budget is limited, I would also like to use this laptop for my university work. Budget would be R22 000/$824-ish. Please note that I am in South Africa, and prices for our gaming laptops are usually more expensive than they would be in the UK/US.

Thank you, I'll check this out!

  • 18T9  Are you still shopping?  If so, an RTX 3050 mobile can run Sims 4, all current packs included, on ultra graphics settings, with some room to spare to accommodate custom content or ReShade.  If you pile on the content, you might need to turn down a few settings a bit, but a mix of high and ultra should be fine.  You don't need an RTX 4060, which is overkill even if it's nice to have.

A 4050 is predictably in between the two in speed, so it's a good compromise if it's within your budget and you'd like some extra power for ReShade or whatever else you'd want to add to your game.

As for Intel UHD graphics, I would stay away if you can afford better.  While these graphics chips are much faster than the equivalents from even a couple of years ago, they're not in the same class as a dedicated graphics card or even as the highest-end integrated graphics available now.
