I hate this now.
I'm doing 3 different Speedtests for my internet and I have full capacity 200Mbps down and 50Mbps up yet the disgusting EA App is throttling my download to 300 KB/s?
How the hell can you **bleep** up a program this hard?
im down to 60KB/s! going strong!

As a lot of People gets the update immediately when it is released that means that the load on the servers are heavy and as they only have so much capacity this means they must divide the load up. If you waited a couple hours the major rush will be over and you should see better download speed.
EA made 300 Million winnings last year. this is not a small indie company.
I can see how that might be the case, but I am experiencing the same issue and have been for the last update as well (which at that time i didnt try downloading right after release). Even then, it never took a day to download. Basic troubleshooting also did nothing and my game otherwise runs well. I would seriously love to know whats causing this/what can be done.
