Frozen screen/cursor

My sims game loads to the home page but freezes. I cannot move the cursor from the center of the screen but music is playing. If I use my touch screen I can hear the application go into what I touch,...

zbug112  Do you still need help?  If so, please force the game to launch in windowed mode.  Open Options.ini, in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4, use ctrl-F to search for fullscreen , and set it to 0 (zero).  Do this with your old Sims 4 folder still removed, so you're testing with no added content.

    Same issue, Sims only works without full screen.  but in Window mode it's too small to be enjoyable, What is the issue?

    Hi! So I just tried this and it didn’t work.. it still went to full screen mode :/
