Furniture is disappearing

this is know as Graphic Card issue.

if nvidia card try custom install, and make clean install then check box is there.

that could have fix it, that was the simple solution.

other is more complicated
can be RAM issue to OS need more free Resources, could be doing other task same time.

and even seen update drivers and Bios is need from product support site.
its rare today but common in past generation pc.

and plenty of other things can also do this, addware and other junk files that Drain on pc Resources, and you might need ccleaner or other check pc for it, i don't say it is that, but many that never did such , actual feel a improvement of performance, and even that could help you.

but as you figure out , pretty hard to find the bug then game do work, and it look like memory leak as some of us call this. to even ID that is hard can also be a in game bug ( but then i bet many sims player will have notice this, so it could actual be your pc )

ps.
some have even lower the Resolution and settings because pc don't have game requirement, but  only you know that.

Hey @AggieSim do you have any custom content installed?

If so can you remove it all and then try the game again to see if you see the same issue again?

I don't download mods. I  just play the game as is.

@AggieSim  If your sim's neighborhood has the "Sharing is Caring" action plan, other sims can steal pretty much anything, including tables.  Even if your sim's own neighborhood doesn't have that particular plan, if it's active in another neighborhood, NPCs will often still pick up the associated buff and steal wherever they want.  Both are known issues.  Here are the relevant bug reports:

@Mantakno  This has nothing to do with someone's graphics card, or any other hardware.  It's a known in-game issue.

I thought it was just me smh I literally open my Sims restaurant for business and by the time the day is over all of my tables and chairs and barstools are gone

@BleuBae26  Do the items disappear all at once, or is it possible sims are stealing them?  Did you use the MoveObjects On cheat to place the items?
