Gallery super slow and laggy

So for a month or so my gallery has become unbearably slow and laggy and i don’t know how to fix it. I’ve tried removing mods, repairing the game, emptying the tray and just about every other solution i’ve found online. It’s not a problem with my internet either as i’ve checked the speed and it’s fine. My computer and the graphic drive are both updated and my specs should be fine as the gallery has worked without issue before on this computer. I’ve disabled the firewall for EA and the sims 4 and uninstalled OneDrive and have no antivirus programs on my computer. I’m honestly at my wits end so if anyone has any suggestions or advice PLEASE let me know!
