game closes on startup
hey so whenever I try to open the sims either by desktop or by ea app it just crashes on the startup screen and opens ea app again as if i closed it myself. all i can see is the maxis/ea blue screen ...

simmer2mew Your computer apparently updated to a newer driver than the one Lenovo provides. So if you did correctly install the Lenovo driver (and I believe you did, since the problem went away temporarily), then the reason your game is crashing again is likely the newer driver. The errors in your newer dxdiag are identical to the ones in the first dxdiag, so it looks like the same problem as before.
Try rolling back to the old driver instead. Click Windows key-X, select the Device Manager, open Display Adapters, right-click the Intel entry, choose Properties > Driver, and you should see an option to roll back to a previous version. The only available version should be the correct one, with a version number ending in 5333. Restart your computer afterwards and try again to play.
