Game Crashes without mods

Anyone please help....

I've been experiencing random crashes during gameplay for some time now. Tried repairing and reinstalling the game, reinstalling the EA app, updating CC but nothing seemed to work...

Today I have taken out the mods folder, created a new save and was able to play the Royalty&legacy pack for 30 minutes, and then, it crashes again.. 💔😢

Here is the DxDiag and crash log attached, any advise would be very much appreciated!

Thanks a lot,

  • yanyiz  Thanks for the dxdiag and crash info, which both show the type of Sims 4 error that often shows up on high-end Intel processors.  A BIOS update can sometimes fix the issue, so please look for one for your motherboard.  I can't tell what board you have from your dxdiag, but you can find the model name printed on the board itself as well as in other locations (including the documentation).

Google "[board name] drivers" and choose the Asus support page for your model.  Your current BIOS version is 1656, so anything with a higher number would be newer.

If you don't find a newer version, or updating doesn't help, boot into BIOS and disable CPU Turbo Boost, which will be somewhere in the Advanced settings.  Asus boards sometimes call it something slightly different, but it should be there and should have Turbo in the name.

Separately, I see a lot of BlueScreens in your dxdiag.  Are they happening while you're playing, or in some other specific context?  They could also happen during what looks like a normal shutdown sequence, so you might miss them.  But they're definitely happening.  If you want help troubleshooting those, let me know.

Thank you so much for your suggestions! After the BIOS update and disabled Turno mode seems to fix the crashes. Then I added back the save files and mods folder, but still expericing a lot of micro freezes when zooming in and out and with camera movement in gameplay.
Wondering what to do to help with those..

Thanks a lot for your help!!
