game crashing and comes back to ea home page

Since yesterday, the game does not launch, the loading window "launching the game" and "preparing the game" load well but each time it crashes and makes me return directly to the ea home page. I updated my computer, I tried to change the graphics levels, move the sims saves to another location than the electronic arts folder, uninstall and reinstall the ea app, clear the ea cache, nothing works, I don't know what to do anymore, I sent 3 error reports but no response or change, what to do? Is this from ea? I don't have any mods on the game, just the base game and two add-ons.

I found the problem, my antivirus was blocking the modification of a file on a protected folder, I authorized it and then the game started working again

okugam Please try playing in a clean user folder. Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop. When you launch the game, if it launches, a clean folder will spawn with no content. (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you've moved but temporarily unread by the game.) Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just start a new save and see how it runs.

If this doesn't help, please provide a dxdiag. Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop. From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
