Like Jpkarlsen said, a repair shop maybe able to troubleshoot, it may cost money for them to look at it.
However, if you end up finding any issues with the laptop itself you may be able to return it to place of purchase for repair or refund since you've only had it a few weeks.
You will want to contact the place you purchased it from to see what the warranty covers.
Today I was able to miraculously play the game for 30-40 minutes before it eventually crashed to desktop. From looking at my lastcrash.txt document, is there anything anyone can see on there which is causing these issues..? (Reading it is like trying to read Latin, to me...)

There is only a memory dumb there so in this case of no use. It also wasn't complete.
