Game crashing some after hotfix update

Okay Sims 4 errors are showing now

GreenOak1357​  Your dxdiag is full of generic Windows update errors, nothing related to Sims 4.  It's possible these have crowded out any game crashes, but it's also possible that there aren't any Sims-related errors at the moment.  At any rate, it's a good idea to run a couple of basic checks of your Windows files:

• Click Windows key-X and select "Powershell (Administrator)" or "Windows Terminal (Administrator)" , whichever you see
• In the window that appears, copy and paste "DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth" without quotes, and enter
• The system will take a little while to validate; if it throws an error, please list it
• Otherwise, copy and paste "sfc /scannow" without quotes into the window, and enter
• Post the message you receive

Restart your computer, open Windows Settings > Update & Security, click the box to check for updates, and if any install, restart again afterwards.

If you get another crash at some point, please look for new errors in the Reliability Monitor.  Click Windows key-R and enter "perfmon /rel" without quotes, and you'll see a chart of errors and updates with a column for each day.  Today is on the right.

Look for an error that happened at exactly the time of your most recent Sims 4 crash.  If you find one, double-click it to see more details, then copy that info and paste it into a reply here.  If you don't see a new error, check back in an hour or so—the Reliability Monitor doesn't always update right away.

And yes, it's safe to delete these files.  If you've disabled any packs in Marketplace > My Collection, the UserSetting.ini file stores that info, but it stores what you've deactivated, so deleting the file means everything is enabled again.  Point is, you don't have to care about this unless you have packs disabled, and in that case, you can disable them again.

Is clearing the user setting.ini file and reticulated spline view and typical cache files safe? Or does it cause problems 

So far my game hasn't crashed anymore yet. Still experiencing sims standing around staring and idling nodding heads in conversations, interactions stuck in queue. Have to keep resetting sims. Seems worse on home lot. I'm just using base game lot though. Seems like simulation lag is worse after last update. 

Also I notice the user setting.ini fie gets over 50mb after about a month and I have to clear it. What causes that? It's done it on three computers including this new one I got in June.

Could you post your Computer's DxDiag?

• Press Windows-Key + R
• Type: DxDiag
• Click on Save all Information.
• Attach the Text File to your post

I also tried clearing cache, user setting file, and even the reticulated spline view file

So far all I've gotten is a posture runtime error. I did a repair and I'm just using the base game Oakenstead lot

I can upload a file next time it crashes
