Game Crashing

Hi
Since the update my game has been crashing to the home screen. No crash alert, the game just freezes then fully closes.

Each time its when i am triple speeding.

I have the most recent version of mccommand center but that's the only mod. As I said in a previous post- I've repaired the game and uninstalled and updated/removed mccommand center multiple times, I've also gone in and cleared my cache and deleted all my .jpg/crash report files in my sims backlog, as well as deleting localthumbcache.package which often fixes things.

I did try deleting my save files and starting in a new save file, which did fix it, but upon adding the save that i am currently playing in the crash started up again.

I have attached my DxDiag and my last crash information as puzzlezaddict requested.

I also tried recovering a past save from this sims family- I don't want to lose these sims/this save but if they are not salvageable I suppose I can save them to my gallery and restart.

  • LiviaJewel1  There's nothing in your dxdiag that points to an obvious issue.  The Sims 4 crash entries aren't helpful: the game crashed because it crashed, because of an access violation.  And this is a type of error that's too generic to be useful on its own.

Since you've established that a new save is fine, try your sims on a different lot in your main save.  Test with a blank or EA-made lot, nothing from the Gallery or your own library.  And test in a different world.  If this is fine, the problem is the lot, neighborhood, or world, which at least narrows things down, and you can test further from there.  If you get another crash, test your sims in a new save.

You don't need to save your progress during any of this.  The point is to try to find out how far-reaching the problem is, and then you can decide what to do from there.
