Game keeps crashing at loading screen.
After the recent businesses and Hobbies patch, the game loads up freezes on the EA screen for a while, then brings up the loading screen. Then the screen freezes and the game crashes. No mods. I have...

OrionSkybourne1 Both of these are crashes of a component of the VC++ runtimes, so please uninstall and reinstall the 2015-2022 runtimes, as I described earlier in the thread.
If that doesn't help, please run a couple of basic checks of your Windows system files:
- Hit Windows key-X
- Choose either “PowerShell (Administrator)” or “Windows Terminal (Administrator),” whichever option is offered
- Inside the window that appears, copy and paste “DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth” without quotes, and enter
- The system will start validating soon. If it throws an error, please list it here
- After it reaches 100%, hit Windows key-X again
- Again, choose “PowerShell (Administrator)” or “Windows Terminal (Administrator)”
- Inside the window, copy and paste “sfc /scannow” without quotes, and enter
- Post the message you receive here
Restart your computer, hit Windows key-i, select Update & Security, and click the box to check for updates. If any install, restart again afterwards. Then uninstall and reinstall the VC++ runtimes yet again.
Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations.
So, I have done all recent system updates, uninstalled and reinstalled the runtimes, and run a repair on the game, but for some reason this crash still and only happens when I adjust and apply the graphics settings. After that, I won't be able to access the game until I delete the options.ini file, and the game regenerates a new one.
