Hi all,
my game loads halfway through the spinning plumbob screen and it suddenly crashes back to my home screen. I've tried repairing the game and restarting my laptop but to no avail. I have not been playing sims 4 for a few weeks due to work. and I updated it before i first launch the game. no changes in my mods or CC. anyone having the same problem?
I've seen several other people having this problem, unsure if it's an update issue or what. Waiting for a solution. So far based on recommendations, I've reinstalled the game, repaired it, removed all mods, given it a clean folder, installed updated drivers, etc. Nothing has fixed the issue. I see, I thought it was my app or laptop problem, glad its not🤫 now to think of it I'm suspecting it to be the update issue as well. I usually dont update and just repair the game unless the repair option is not available.

eikcim Does removing the saves folder help? If so, you likely have this issue:
i think its fixed! EA requested an update so I did, and I tried opening the game again and it works! I hope it stays this way.
