I just bought the Sims 4 and all the DLCs on Steam, but when I start the game it shows this
I made sure I linked the correct EA account, and I'm on a brand new computer, only installed Steam, EA app, and Sims 4, tried everything, but still can't start the game
I spent a lot of money, but I can't start the game, why is this? What should I do?

I have the same thing, I wrote to support, no one answers. I've already unlinked accounts and set everything up again - it doesn't help. I am shocked by the level of support - it is terrible. After you bought the game, no one cares if you can play it.

Solved.
Before I bought The Sims 4 and the DLC, I bought The Sims™ 25th Anniversary Bundle. Maybe it was because the bundle contained duplicate The Sims 4 or outdated DLC?
Anyway, after I refunded the bundle, I was able to launch The Sims 4 through Steam.
