Game will not launch because it is "already running"
I have tried to launch the Sims 4 several times, both from the EA app and the desktop shortcut, and every time I do the app pops up and tells me "The Sims 4 Digital Deluxe is already running. Go ahead and start playing. it's a good one" - I have checked task manager and it is definitely NOT running.

For the inability to connect, if it hasn't resolved by now, please clear the EA App's cache:
