Game will not launch

I was playing my game perfectly fine with no problems a few days ago. Today I opened the EA app, went to go launch The Sims and it freezes. It is an all white screen with the dial spinning and spinning but it never opens or responds to anything. I end up having to use the task manager to close the game. I tried repairing the game as well and it still does not work. I do not use any cc or mods. From reading through this forum it seems I am not the only one having this issue but I though maybe posting something will catch enough attention for The Sims people to figure this bug out.

    Allybobba89  Please try playing in a clean user folder.  Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop.  When you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content.  (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you've moved but temporarily unread by the game.)  Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just start a new save and see how it runs.

    If you get another crash, please provide a dxdiag.  Hit Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop.  From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
