Game won’t launch

Hi,

my game won’t launch. When trying to launch via EA app or via sims 4 shortcut the game opens and flickers from black to white screen a couple of times and then either goes back to the ea app or a minimised version of sims with a white screens stays on my screen.

ive tried repairing the game twice with no luck. I’ve removed mods. I’ve even removed the sims 4 folder where you find mods and saves so it had to create a new folder. No luck.

All drivers are up to date. It should launch with my Nivada driver. I don’t know what I have to do.

My Husband had completely removed everything from the video card. At first I couldn't find it again to put back on my laptop. This was achieved via the HP site.

I can now play the sims again, not in full screen.  So it worked for me too.

Only now I see 2 things in the sims 4 folder that were not there before and the game version numbers have been changed to symbols. Does this have to do with the update? There will now be GPU Benchmark Results and GPU Score Results in the folder.

redhead0966  I have no idea what the benchmark results are from unless you or your husband did some benchmarking on your own.  The strange symbols in GameVersion.txt is a known issue with Windows 11 and wouldn't happen if you used a different program to open the file, for example Notepad++.  But it's not a problem and doesn't need a fix.
