Get Famous hair color is wrong
When my sim gets into hair and makeup, the hair changes but the color is ALWAYS this light orangeish brown color. No matter which sim, and considering I have black sims in the acting career the hair...

I’m using ea hair and in the beginning I thought it was normal for it to always change to that orangey brown but I’ve seen let’s plays where that not the case. So I’m trying to figure out how or what I need to do where I’m not always getting that same color with every sim I do.

I think it depends on how the game sets a random color for you. It may orangeish brown or black but the game chooses black less often. Once set up it will apply to all your sims. It will never be blond, or at least I have not seen such a color yet. Of course, if you use mods you can enter to CAS during the show and change this color. But that could mess up the game, so it's better not to do it.
