Help! Sims 4 keeps reloading and won’t connect with my computer mouse

Hello,

ever since the most recent updates, I cannot play sims 4 on my computer anymore. It won’t let me use my mouse and freezes unless I exit (sec key) and then click the icon to load back in.

I can’t use my Bluetooth mouse of the mouse on my keyboard. I’d love some assistance, I’ve uninstalled, reinstalled and repaired the game and nothing is working.

  • OkamiAmaterasu99  Please try forcing the game to launch in windowed mode.  Open Options.ini, in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4, search for fullscreen , and set it to 0 (zero).

Please also shut down any apps you use that include overlays: Discord, Steam, etc.  Disable the EA App in-game overlay too, under Settings > Application.

If this doesn't help, like to see a dxdiag.  Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop.  From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
