Help! Sims Game Crash!

Hello, so i wanted to get back on the sims after about a year, for context, i use custom content and mods and i filter them through Sims 4 Mod Manager. Anyway, Whenever I open my game, it would appear darker and would have these still glitches on the screen. So, i went to CAS, and this is what popped up, what should I do?

  • LuvMokyo  See whether you can install the newest driver from AMD for your processor and integrated graphics chip.  HP software sometimes blocks drivers not directly from HP, so you might get an error message, but there's a way around that if necessary.  Here's the driver:

    Run the installer as an admin: right-click the download and select "Run as administrator."  Restart your computer afterwards and before trying to play.

    If you can't install this driver, see whether HP offers a newer one for your machine.  Go here:

    https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/desktops

    Enter your computer's serial number, choose your OS (just Windows 10 is fine) if prompted, click All Drivers, then Driver-Graphics, and look for an AMD (not Intel or Nvidia) driver newer than your current one, which has a version number of 23.20.0816.0000.  Anything that starts with a higher number than 23 is newer, as would be one that started with 23 and had a subsequent number higher than 816.

    If you can't install the driver directly from AMD and HP doesn't offer a newer one, let me know.  This particular problem is almost certainly related to the old driver, so it's important to update it in one way or another.

    Move your mods folder to the desktop Then test the game.

    The mod manager test for conflicts between mods not between mods and the game.

  • LuvMokyo  Please update the driver for your graphics card or chip.  If you don't know how to do this, please provide a dxdiag.  Hit Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop.  From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
