I’m getting this new laptop and it’s a Lenovo yoga 7 2 in 1 16” laptop. Is this good to play the sims 4 on?

This is excellent for school work and light office work. It should be capable of running the Sims 4 a mid to high settings with ultra out of the picture as it do not have a dedicated graphics card. A touch screen will not work well with the game so unless you have other uses for it, it is a waste of your money.
If you post what your budget is and your country plus what else you need it for someone here may be able to point you to better options. Or if you are fine with this one go for it.
