Household Invisible on Main Menu?

I have tried troubleshooting this as many ways as I can think of. Since the June 30th update, my most recently plaid household does isn't showing up on the main menu. The file is playable, it's as if the family is just invisible? I'm not sure if this is some UI glitch or what. I have tried with mods, without mods, repairing my game, clearing the cache, trying different save files, creating new save files, trying save file backups etc. The only thing that has worked is if I load a game file through 'load game' rather than 'resume'. Even then, if I close my game, my most recently played family does not show up in the main menu. I'm at a loss of what could be causing this.

    DabQueen_7l0​  If you create a new save, does that save's household show up?  Please test with your Mods folder removed.  The point is that the Main Menu shows a preview of the most-recently-saved household, so you'd need to save your progress with different sims for it to be a fair test.  I'm not sure from your wording whether you've tried that; if not, please do so now, with your Mods folder removed.

    If that doesn't or didn't help, please provide a dxdiag.  Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop.  From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
