I can't close the game

Hi there! Today, when I opened the game I noticed that the mods in game were turned off, so I turned them on. I turned off and on the sims, and when I wanted to create a new game, the only thing that showed, was a white screen. At first, I wasn't really worried, as it happened to me before. I usually just closed the tab, and then open it, and the game would run perfectly fine. Unfortunately this time, im unable to close the game, I've tried alt+f4 , tried closing it by a task manager (the window of task manager doesn't even show up, as well as other apps), f11 doesn't work too. Hoping that someone knows how to fix it, because as long as the white screen continues, I can't use my pc :cc (sorry for bad english btw, English isn't my first language)
