When I opened my game I accidently clicked "No, keep playing" rather than to download now. But when I closed the game and restarted the pop up didn't return. I've restarted the game 4 times and nothing new has shown up in game when I've looked specifically for the new items. The new event also isn't popping up in game, althought it showed up in the menu the first time.
Event is now working on another restart, still no sign of the SDX drop.

nemome1 Do you see anything in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > content other than a single file? If so, does it help to remove the folder and let the game recreate it?
klschofield Is your content now in your game, just not showing as new; or is it still missing? There should be data in content when there's an SDX drop, and the folder should empty when the game is next updated and the SDX content is incorporated into the program files.
