I can't get the authentication off my screen. What do I do?

I have had the sims for less of year and I don't really know how updates go. But 3 days ago I tried to open the sims 4 and a loading screen popped up that reads "Autheticate...". I wish I could upload the image I took of it on my desktop, but I genuinely don't know how to. But this loading screen cannot be removed and it's stuck loading in the same place. It will not load, at all! Please help, I need to fix this somehow. Also sorry if my english is bad, I live in Germany.

    16048924​  Does this happen again if you restart your computer?  Please try it.  If you do still see the message, upload the image to a third-party filehosting site and link it here.  (Imgur is free and easy to use, if you don't already have an account somewhere; Google Drive also works.)  Uploading images and other files is blocked for certain forumaccounts, but links should work.

    P.S.  Your English is fine, in fact I wouldn't have noticed anything different had you not brought it up.  And I'm a native speaker.
