Infinite Saving in Build Mode when placing Lots from Gallery (stuck on saving)

This was never an issue since the latest patch. I've noticed that the builds I've downloaded from the gallery and/or mod sites, I follow the same protocol - (clean my mods folder, check for dupes, move the tray files into the appropriate folder, etc) and if I save before placing a lot from the library, it saves fine. However, when I place a CC-filled lot and try to save it, it has an infinite loading screen. This same problem exists whether it's new or existing save. I tried different lots, new save files, and it's all the same problem. I've had to force close the game numerous times while I've been trial and error all day. Launching the game is fine and fast, and my PC is more than capable of handling such.
