@Simologist Please run a dxdiag, upload it to a third-party filehosting site, and link it here. This site's virus scanner isn't working right now and is currently blocking all attachments.

@Simologist Please run a couple of basic checks on your Windows system files. Here's how:
- Hit Windows key-X
- Choose either “PowerShell (Administrator)” or “Command prompt (Administrator),” whichever option is offered
- Inside the window that appears, copy and paste “DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth” without quotes into the window, and enter
- The system will start validating soon. If it throws an error, please list it here
- After it reaches 100%, hit Windows key-X again
- Again, choose “PowerShell (Administrator)” or “Command prompt (Administrator)”
- Inside the window, copy and paste “sfc /scannow” without quotes into the window, and enter
- Post the message you receive here
Restart your computer before testing.
If you still get the initialization error, please disable Game Mode and Game Bar, both under Windows Settings > Gaming.
If that doesn't help either, please try playing while your computer is completely offline. You can sign into Origin and put it in offline mode, then disable wifi and/or disconnect the ethernet cable before trying to launch the game.

I've tried all of the above steps and I'm still getting the error, I even set Origin and the game to run as administrator. This is the result from my SFC scan

@Simologist Have you specifically tried playing in a new admin user account on your computer? It was on the list I linked earlier, but it would be the next step. And please specifically use an account name that doesn't contain any special characters, accents, etc., just letters and/or numbers.
If that doesn't or didn't help, I wonder whether the game would generate a crash dump if you set Windows to write them. Here's how to do that:
- Hit the Windows key, type "command prompt" in the box, right-click on Command Prompt in the search results, and select Run as Administrator
- In the window, paste "reg add "HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Windows Error Reporting\LocalDumps\devenv.exe" /v DumpType /d 2 /t REG_DWORD" without the outside quotes into the box, and enter
- Try to launch Sims 4 and let it error out
- Then hit Windows key-R and paste "%LOCALAPPDATA%\CrashDumps" without quotes into the box, and enter
- Upload the last .dmp file to pastebin and drop a link here, as before
- When you want to undo the auto crash log dumps, open Command Prompt as before, paste "reg delete "HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Windows Error Reporting\LocalDumps" /f" without the outside quotes, and enter.
If you don't get a crash dump, that's fine; I'm just hoping for one so we can get more information.

Just did everything you told me; I don't get a crashdump after letting it error out, the crashdump folder would appear as empty.

@Simologist If you move your existing Sims 4 folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts, is a new one when you try to launch the game? Please test just to see.
Please also unplug any nonessential peripheral devices, especially any external drives or USB sticks.
If that doesn't help, please uninstall Origin using Revo Uninstaller, and install it in a new admin user account.
- Put aside your Sims 4 folder in Documents\Electronic Arts.
- Download Revo Uninstaller (the free version is fine) from here.
- Launch Revo, select Origin from the list, and click Uninstall.
- Select "Moderate" under "scanning modes" and Scan.
- If Revo finds any remaining registry entries, select all, delete, and click Next.
- Revo will display "Remaining Data and Folders." Select all of them except for the "Origin Games" folder, if it appears. (This is where Sims 4 and other Origin games are installed by default.) Delete the rest.
- Close Revo, and restart your computer.
- Create a new admin user account with only letters and numbers in the username (no special characters, accents, etc.), and do not link it to any other accounts.
Boot into the new account, download and install Origin using the full installer. Here's the direct download link:
http://download.dm.origin.com/origin/live/OriginSetup.exe
Be sure to run both the installer and Origin itself as an admin: right-click on each and select "Run as Administrator."
