Invalid license, missing d3d9.dll, error 0x7e

I installed a reshade into my sims 4 Game Bin and decided to uninstall it so I removed the reshade folder and the DLLs, but now when I attempt to start my game it keeps giving me this error.
I repaired my game and it didn’t fix the issue.

Where do I get the d3d9.dll file?

Actually I just downloaded a d3d9.dll file from a sim Tumblr page that made sweetFX files! Thanks for the help though.

  • @amyintheskies  I've moved your post to the Sims 4 PC tech section.

Please try repairing the game in Origin: open your game library, right-click on the Sims 4 icon, and select Repair.
