I've deleted some CC but they wont dissapear!

Long story short,i've deleted some random files.But they don't dissapear-especially if i try deleting them again!It always says "Could not find this item".I ended up making a new folder and named it Mods(1),deleting the old mod folder (also i added resource.cfg in the new folder) but did'tn work,so i named it "Mods"-plot twist:the files came back!Can anyone help me?I also own a Windows 7 if that helps which i use to play The Sims 4

    Hello.
    Reset your sims 4 folder by moving your sims 4 folder ( that is in Documents -Electronic Arts - then the sims 4 folder is there ) to the desktop. Then start the game, and a new sims 4 folder will be generated. Exit the game and then add back the "options.ini" file and the "saves" , "screenshots" "tray" "custom music " folders from the desktop sims 4 folder to the new sims 4 folder, replacing the new generated file/ folders with the old file/folders.
    Don't replace the mods folder. Instead of doing that, transfer the mods/cc that you would like to keep in your game into the new generated mods folder.

    Drag the folder called Mods to your desktop, delete the file called localthumbcache.package, and start the game up. The game will remake the Mods folder on its own, with nothing but a fresh game-created resource.cfg file in it. Nothing that was in the Mods folder you dragged to the desktop should show in-game after that.
