Key for Add-on not downloadable?

so I bought a key for lovestruck because that's more affordable and stuff. I redeemed the code on the EA app and lovestruck now shows up under "manage add-ons" but I cant download it. I did everything I could to try and fix that problem but nothing worked. I also reached out to the client support thingy from where I bought the key but they were just being weird and couldn't provide any help. now my question, did something like this happen to some of u guys before and if it did, could you fix it? and if you could, how did you do that? I'm really frustrated
