Launch error : “Repairs needed. Some of your files are corrupted...”
Hello! I have been having consistent issues with playing Sims 4 for months and have not been able to find a solution. The constant error I receive says, “Repairs needed. Some of your files are corrupted, but a simple repair should do the trick.” I have tried the following solutions;
- repaired the game (way too many times)
- cleared EA cache
- uninstalled and reinstalled EA with and without Revo Uninstaller
- uninstalled and reinstalled Sims 4 (in a different folder than documents) with and without Revo Uninstaller
- forcing DirectX9 and DirectX11
- manually updated graphics driver
and none have worked. I am really not looking forward to the real answer being because my laptop is too old, so I would greatly appreciate it if someone could offer any advice or help whatsoever.
As for additional information that may help with anything, I have used mods before but deleted them while my game was still working because of frequent incompatibility issues. I also have deleted all of my files in hopes that that would help with the issue, but I am aware that the last tray file was from 03/13/2024, and the most recent file allover was from 06/17/2024.
I have also included a DxDiag attachment to help, and I tried repeatedly to look for errors in reliability monitor for Sims 4 but it has never showed up.
