Mod Conflicts Troubleshooting

Hey! I was wondering if anyone could help me with my gameplay issues.

I finally downloaded the mods and CC I wanted in game, but upon launch of the game it wouldn't let me get into gameplay. I can use Build/Buy Mode, Edit Worlds, and CAS but the first time I pulled up a family to play the game was stuck on pause and some strange blue squares covered part of the screen. I used Mod Conflict Detector but it showed multiple conflicts so I decided to uninstall them all and redownload and install (making sure this time that I was installing the most updated versions and doing so correctly). I cleared my Cache before-hand and I repaired my game afterward (recommended by gamers) but when I go back into the game it still won't go into the gameplay. It loads the game, loads the world, I click play and it loads to the View Worlds screen or goes into CAS. Perhaps one of the mods is outdated and never updated so even the recent version doesn't work, let me know if you know of any popular mods that are not usable anymore.

I also, just to make sure, took all of my mods out and it went into gameplay perfectly fine so it has to be something in the mods folder.

I appreciate any help I can get, Thanks!

Move your Mods folder to the Desktop and delete localthumbcache.package. Then test the game.

If it works now check for updates to your Mods and CC. Add it back a little at a time while testing until you have found all that are broken.

"Mod Conflict Detector" is broken and hasn't worked in years. It was last updated like 3-4 years ago. Don't use it. Anything it tells you is likely wrong.

There is no easy program or one-click solution to finding a broken mod.

Take @jpkarlsen 's suggestion and go through them little by little.
