Mods not showing up in game

Updated my game today, haven’t played on my new computer yet. I go in make sure it’s all toggled correctly in the game options, go back out and move my mods folder in. Try to start making a household and none of my cc is there, I create a random character and there’s no evidence of any mods in the main game either.

I’ve tried moving them mods out starting to play a household saving them moving them back in but that doesn’t do anything. Nothing is more than a folder deep all script mods aren’t in any (aside from the mods folder ofc) and yet nothings happening. Also made sure that the game is registering everything from the same place and it appears to be all coming from the correct place.

    Are you sure the mods are enabled in settings? And try to select show mods in the same setting then you can sheck the mods are indeed in the game.

    By me it says when I open some of my households from my gallery with mods there is content not owned but when I  ignore that and place the household in CAS all my content I used with the sim/household the content is vicsible anyway.

    Ryker20031​  Try a different mod.  If that doesn't help, use a different browser to download a mod.  It's possible that your browser is trying to "open" the mods and damaging the files as a result.

    If you deleted the Mods folder and a new one was generated the next time you loaded the game, AND that new folder was empty other than the Resource.cfg file, then you're almost certainly working with the correct folder.  But please list the full path to that folder (as the game sees it) in case I need to reference it for one reason or another.  You can write [username] instead of your actual username if you like.

    I've probably checked at least 10 times by now that I'm doing things in the right folder so I'd be shocked if I wasn't. As for your secondary suggestion I tried that, deleted my entire mods folder loaded the game with nothing saved exited downloaded the most recent mc command centre and went back in, no sight of the mod at all (clicked on multiple sims and the mail box and the mc command centre options weren't there). Also tried uninstalling the game from the ea app and redownloading it, doing the same as before loading with zero mods checking its toggled then adding the recent mc command centre and still nothing what so ever. Beginning to lose hope tbh.

    Ryker20031​  Please make sure you're dealing with the Sims 4 folder the game is actually reading specifically in the way described here:

    I realize you're fairly sure, but this would be the most obvious reason your mods and cc don't load.

    If you are in fact adding mods to the correct folder, please remove the entire Mods folder, start the game to generate a new one, quit, download a fresh copy of one mod or cc item that's confirmed compatible with the current patch (1.123), add it to the new Mods folder, and see whether it works.
