I keep getting this crushes after 8-10 minutes of gameplay. My game was completely fine before the update however, after updating i started with these issues. I made sure to run my game without mods, cleared cache, repair, reinstall, everything! Nothing works and i'm kinda desperate, any help plese?
antonelidas Please try playing in a clean user folder. Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop. When you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content. (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you've moved but temporarily unread by the game.) Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just start a new save and see how it runs.
If you get another crash, please provide a dxdiag. Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop. From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.

So after investigating, i updated my graphic card driver and also changed my game from directx9 to directx11 and this appears to have solved the issue! I've been able to play for few hours now without any crashings.
antonelidas It's strange that the game would have been using DirectX 9 in the first place. Did you choose that deliberately? The game would default to DX11 mode on your system. And while your graphics driver was a bit old, it wasn't so old that it should have been a problem all by itself.
