Hello, my file isnt located in one drive it is here: C:\Users\PC\Desktop
I have just Repaired the game through steam as you instructed and it now says Update Failed then underneath it says Disk write error and when i click resume update it instantly stops and the resume button reappears
I am trying to follow the steps of the checks you have suggested and when i click windows+x neither PowerShell(administrator) or windows terminal(administrator) appear the list of options i have are below:
Apps and Features, Power options, Event Viewer, System, Device Manager, Network connections, Disk Management, Computer Management, Command Prompt, Command prompt (admin). Task manager, Settings, file explorer, search, Run, Shutdown or sign off, Desktop.
Also yesterday i uninstalled and reinstalled the sims 4, played for a while and it worked completely fine until now where the issue has occurred again
