I have taken out my mods and cc, taken out the entire ea folder, updated windows, tried to run both ea and sims 4 as administrator, repaired ea, uninstalled and reinstalled ea and sims 4. It just keeps saying error game failed to launch. This only started happening after the recent update.
vii3000 Please check your antivirus for any recent Sims 4-related actions, and allow the game or set an exception if necessary, whatever option you see.
If that doesn't help, please provide a dxdiag. Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop. From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
Please also let me know whether OneDrive is running on this computer.
