maliaast Please set your laptop's screen to run at its native 2560x1440, as opposed to the 1920x1080 you're using now. If the icons are too small, you can increase the DPI, but please don't do that until you've tested Sims 4 once. Set the game to run at 2560x1440 as well.
If you'd like to get your GPU recognized, you'll want to edit GraphicsCards.sgr. The original copy of the file is here:
[install location]\The Sims 4\Game\Bin
Copy the file and paste it into Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > ConfigOverride. Open the file and search for Nvidia, then add this line right underneath the Nvidia line:
card 0x2820 "NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop GPU" $cardLevelUber $resolutionHigh
Make sure it's indented the same as the other lines, four spaces from the left in my file. Save, close the file, load the game, quit, and check Config.log again. You should see a Found: 1 instead of 0. If you do, the edit was done correctly and it's time to test the game.
If the above doesn't help, please post a couple of screenshots of the blurriness so I can get a better idea of what might be happening.
