My Sim is incapable of doing anything

I'm having the same issue ever since I downloaded the lastest patch. I've tried everything - resetting sim, shift click debug, turned off all mods & CC & removed entire folder from game, restarted game over and over. Repaired all packs through EA app. reset sim comes up with "sim not found"as does sims.get_sim_id_by_name <simFirst> <simLast>. The only thing that makes her move is pressing "m" and she can move on other lots, but then when she comes back to her home lot she cannot move again. I havbe no idea what else to try. The lot itself uses move objects and I have this turned on. Lot does not use script mods or CC. she can't even walk 3 steps, let alone turn a tv on or shower or sleep. Sim was fine prior to the latest update. I do not have the new Businesses and Hobbies pack, but I have all other packs and some kits. This is so frustrating - please fix the update!! My sim is stuck outside at the front of her lot, in her bathing suit in winter while it's raining! She can't even change her outfit! I even tried telling her to "Go Home" and she doesn't even get the command. She also can't sing, can't transportolate, can't cloudgaze, can't go jogging, can't do anything except talk. She also can't move household. I travelled her to her old home and the walls would not cut away. So I entered build mode and they worked, but exit build mode and the walls stay up permanently and onc e you click the floor up arrow, it greys out both the up and down arrow so you can't go back down a floor. So I went to her phone and "Move households"and chose her old lot. And now she works again omg. So I filled her needs there and then got her to go to move household back to the other lot, and again she is stuck out the front of the lot. It is the 64x64 lot in Chestnut Ridge.
Okay I placed the lot in san myshuno - all cheats on, still didn't work, so then removed the items that I had placed with the t.o.o.l. mod (even tho I pulled my mods folder out already), saved and it's STILL not working!!! Can click items but not the ground, just like the last 2 lots. So far an additional 9 sims have teleported to outside the lot and appear not to be able to leave. She is just a visitor, I haven't even moved her in and she still can't go in!! zSo I took her to CAS, and back, now she's out the front of the lot again with the other 10 npcs who are also all stuck there. Again I can't move her household so I have to go to travel. I go to the gallery in san myshuno and come back and she's out the front of the lot again. AGAIN the only thing I can do is to swim in in the onsen, but then she gets trapped in there. No amount of terrain flattening nor adding platforms etc will help - she is just stuck. So then I built a pool next to her with a ladder and she's still stuck. So then I built the pool around her and she was able to swim to the ledge and sit, but cannot get up and go wash her hands for instance.
Great. So I was able to get her to go relax in the hotsprings but she can't get out. I'm back at suare one again!!! It was the only thing she would do. So I removed the sauna and once again she was stuck in the floor rolls eyes.
You have no idea how many days I spent building this blooming house and now I can't even use it!!! :@ All for an update I didn't really need bcuz I don't even have the pack that it was launched for! So I've now flattened all the terrain under the hotsprings and took the hot springs away - still stck in floor, can't do anything but when I say to go relax in hotsprings she is miraculously able to get out of the floor, only to get up and go in the hotsprings in her cold winter wear!!
I'm scared of opening any of my other saves unless they corrupt too! So I opend another save - completely different Sim and lot, and it works fine, so it's something about that lot and I think building while the sim was in the hotsprings.
