My sims 4 expansion packs won’t show up on the game

My sims 4 expansion packs shows I’ve purchased and installed them , but I’m having trouble with them showing up in the game . The icon For each expansion pack I own comes out on the main menu but the worlds or the build and other stuff won’t  . But somethings I have to load the game and then exit the game like 4 times and then the welcome screen to the expansion packs come out and I can finally play but that doesn’t work all the time . I’ve installed the sims 4 legacy edition and the game works fine but not the expansion packs. I’ve had this game for like 4 years and have had this problem since then
