My Sims can't read correctly.. one drive..
Ok so I have a MASSIVE problem, which I made all by myself! :D
Better ex always tell me to stop One Drive, so I tried. Anyway, I deleted my One Drive file/sims 4. I also wanted to move everything to D-disc beacuse I have much more space there. I tried to make a new map there and renamed so Sims would read it. Somewhere I obv did wrong. Whatever happend is maybe irelevant, whats importens is that i have everything saved in back ups. Tray, mods, saves. How do I get the right maps where I can place everything and it reads correctly? Now it Say start new game like its the first time playing, everything is gone. Do I need to repair the game or reinstall it to get the right maps back without one drive? Can I even have it in D? Hope this makes sense somehow. Been crying all night.
Never ever have something hold on to me so tight like OneDrive! BUT I’m here to tell you we finally broke up. If you have the app installed, you need to first disconnect it to your computer THEN delete the app. I had just deleted the app hoping it would be gone. Nope. Not that easy. After you done this it STILL won't leave you alone. You need to follow the steps in this following video.
I used this and I think it just saved me years of gameplay. Just remember to copy the whole sims 4 folder and have a back up! Now everything works for me and I moved it to D so now I also got a LOT more space in C again. War is over. At least for now. Hope it helps!!
