new kits not downloading
purchased new kits, download button is there but they are not downloading, when i press it the list just goes back to the top as the kits are just jumbled up in the list not at the top like new ones

I just had the same issue, restarted the EA app and was able to download one of them, then same issue again, had to restart EA app AGAIN, then could get second one to download.
However now my game is freezing and crashing every 5-10mins.

GenX_Simmer Have you tried clearing the EA App's cache and restarting your computer?

It might also help to repair the game and launch it once, with automatic game updates enabled in the EA App. The App will often auto-download missing content in this case.
I am having the same issue. I purchased the Business Chic Kit, and although it says its in my library, I can't download it. Whenever I try to download, I get disconnected or I get the following error message: We've cancelled this download because you don't own this game. I've cleared the cache, started the app multiple times, signed in/signed out multiple times.
ok update- as per another similar question posed on this forum, I went into Settings -> Downloads and enabled "Update Games Automatically" and "Enable Background Downloads". These were previously toggled off for me. Then I cleared the cache for the EA App, launched the app again, and went back into Sims 4 "Manage Add-ons" and was finally able to successfully download the Business Chic kit. @GenX_Simmer maybe this will work for you too.
Hi evil-needle-1960 thanks im going to try this right now BRB :).. it didnt work, they were still toggled on for me, ive tried from manage add ons and even clicked to buy kit and tried the download button there. this is so annoying. we shouldnt have to go through this every time we get a new pack!
