New update issues

I’ve noticed issues with the new update. I can’t drag anything to the garbage/sinks to clean my sims areas. 
In the small business pack I’ve also noticed that the hobby whiteboard doesn't work at all I get a “script failed” bar that comes up on my screen when I try to place it. 

I have absolutely no mods, I’ve tried to repair the game 3 times and cleared my cashe just in case but still no luck.
