Not receiving newest base game items.

The newest sims delivery will not work for my sims game. I’ve removed my mods, deleted localthumbcache, restarted the EA app and removed its cache, repaired the game through steam, and I don’t know what to do. Everytime I try to download the sims delivery, it says “sims delivery error” and the error code is “00000010:000000000000c8” what I do?

    Th3Idi0tt  Please temporarily disable Norton to see whether it helps.  As long as you don't do anything else at the same time, your computer should be safe.  And delete the content folder again for the test.

    Th3Idi0tt  Try temporarily disabling your antivirus.  As long as you don't do anything else at the same time, your computer should be safe.  It's also worth deleting the content folder inside Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4, where SDX content is located.

    If disabling the antivirus does allow the SDX download, please let me know which AV you use, so I can add a note (for myself) about it interfering with the downloads.

    If this doesn't help, can you test on a different network?  For example, you could set your phone as a mobile hotspot, using data rather than your home wifi, and connect to that.

    Hi! So the only antivirus software I can think of having in Norton, but I thought that it only works if you manually turn it on. Unless I’m dumb and it has one always on. I’ll have to look at it.
