Origin won't update my game

So, when I wanted to install the new update for the sims 4, origin wouldn't update my game. It was preparing for an hour and then it was downloading for 5 hours (20-100kb/s) and it was stuck at 75% because it was installing at 0B/s. I tried restarting, cancelling, reinstalling Origin and Sims 4, opening ports but it didn't work. The download times were horrible, even though when I checked the speed of my internet it said it was 60mbps. Please help, I'm trying to play sims for about 2 days now.

Stop update. To do it go to Origin/My games library - right-click on TS4 and select stop update.
Then once more right-click on TS4 and select "Repair"
It can take some time - if more files in the installation folder are corrupted.
Yo have to wait until Origin will check all your packets not only the base game.
When it is finished once more right-click on TS4 and select "Update"
This is a quite big update more than 620 mega so how long it will take depend on the speed not only the internet but also depend on how kind of disc you have. If it is a new, very fast speed disc it shouldn't take a long time.

    I don't work for EA
